載せてよいものwhat may be posted

高札に載るのは名と点だけでござる。名は殿がその場で選ぶもので、 長さは16 字まで。それより長ければ そこで切られ、何も書かねば ANON となる。制御文字と < > & " ' \ は落とす — 名は名であって、印付けの道具ではないゆえ。

The board carries a name and a score, and nothing else. You choose the name when you post; it is cut to 16 characters, an empty one becomes ANON, and control characters and < > & " ' \ are dropped on the way in — a name is a name, not a way of marking up somebody else's page.

その名は公開される。盤ごとに上位 20 名までが誰にでも見える。 ゆえに本名は載せぬこと。名は歳月を経ても消えず、消すには下の「下ろす」を頼まねばならぬ。

The name is public. Each board shows the top 20, to anybody at all. So do not post your real name: it stays there until somebody takes it down, and taking it down is the request described below rather than something you can do yourself.

載せられぬ名names the board refuses

短い拒否の名簿がひとつある。載っているのは、どの文脈で現れても 差別語か猥語である語だけで、行儀の善し悪しを裁く名簿ではござらぬ。 軽い罵り言葉はわざと入れておらぬ。

There is one short refusal list. It holds only terms that are slurs or obscenities in every context they can appear in; it is not a decency filter, and mild profanity is deliberately not on it.

短いのは手抜きではなく設計にござる。この名簿は部分一致で照らすゆえ、 穏やかな語を一つ足すたび、その字面をたまたま含む罪なき名が山ほど拒まれ、 しかも当人には理由が知らされぬ。ゆえに名簿は短く鈍いままにしてある。 照らす前に名は正規化される — 全角は半角へ、片仮名は平仮名へ、 字と数字以外は落とす。ｆｕｃｋ も f.u.c.k も同じ名として扱うためでござる。

Short is the design, not a shortcut. The list is matched by SUBSTRING, so every mild word added to it refuses a pile of innocent names that merely contain it, and nobody is ever told why. Names are folded before they are compared — fullwidth to halfwidth, katakana to hiragana, everything that is not a letter or a digit removed — so ｆｕｃｋ and f.u.c.k are one name and not three.

この名簿が、その気のある者を止めきることはない。この種の名簿はどれも止めきったためしがない。 これは「高札に真っ先に並ぶのが誰でも思いつく下品な言葉」にならぬための仕掛けであって、 その先は人の手 — すなわち下の「下ろす」でござる。番人は名を一つずつ、 厳密一致で拒むこともできる。部分一致の名簿とは逆の形にしてあるのは、 近い綴りの罪なき名を巻き添えにせぬためにござる。

It will not hold against somebody determined to get past it — no list of this kind ever has. It is here so the first thing on the board is not the obvious thing, and the rest of the distance is a person: the takedown below. The moderator can also refuse one name at a time, matched EXACTLY on that same folded form — the opposite shape to the substring list, so it can be as specific as they like without refusing anybody who merely spells something nearby.

名は先に名乗った端末のものa name belongs to the device that claimed it

帳面（account）は無い。代わりに、名を初めて載せた端末が、その端末の中だけに持つ 無作為の合鍵でその名を握る。同じ盤で同じ名を、別の端末から載せることはできぬ — 扉は 409 name taken と答えて断る。 帳面の無い遊びで、誰でも書ける名は名ではないゆえ。

There are no accounts. Instead, the first device to post a name holds it with a random token that never leaves that device. A second device posting the same name to the same board is refused with 409 name taken. Without this the board is a whiteboard: anyone could type your name over your record, and the top of every board would go to whoever cared least.

合鍵の生の値は外へ出ぬ。盤に控えるのはその一方向の摘要だけで、 それが同じ端末かどうかを比べる用にしか使わぬ。 browser の記憶を消せば合鍵も消え、その名は自分にも断られるようになる — そのときは下の連絡先へ申されよ。番人が claim だけを解くことができる（点はそのまま残る）。

The raw token never leaves your device; the board keeps only a one-way digest of it, and uses it for one comparison and nothing else. Clearing your browser storage clears the token, and your own name will then refuse you — ask through the contact form and the moderator can release the claim while leaving the score where it is.

機械の走りは隠すthe harness's runs are hidden

この repository の検査は、実際に指で一曲弾いて高札へ送り、送ったものを読み返す。 それでしか「盤が本当に往復している」ことは分からぬゆえ。 その走りは本物で、だからこそ消さずに隠してござる。 名が GATE に続けて英数四字（および古い TOUCHTEST）の形をしたものは、 人に見せる盤からは外される。

The checks in this repository play a whole piece with real touch events, post it, and read it back — that is the only way to know the board round-trips. Those runs are real and earned, which is exactly why they are HIDDEN rather than refused or deleted. An entry named GATE followed by four hex digits (and the one older fixed name, TOUCHTEST) is dropped from every board a player sees.

隠すのであって、秘するのではない。&all=1 と添えれば誰でも全部見える。 2026-09-02 に実測したところ、ある盤の十二件が全て機械の名で、人は一人も居らなんだ — 初めて高札を開いた者が見るのが機械の壁というのは、空の高札より悪うござる。 空の高札は「一番乗りなされ」と言うておるゆえ。

Hidden, not secret: &all=1 shows every entry to anybody who asks. Measured on the live board, 2026-09-02: one board held twelve entries and not one of them was a player. A wall of robots is a worse first impression than an empty board — an empty board says "be the first".

一日に何度までhow much of a day one address gets

書き込む扉は四つ — 高札へ送る、記録を渡す、走りを競わせる、問い合わせる。 四つは同じ勘定を分け合い、一つの接続元につき 一日 20 回まで。 数えるのに使うのは住所そのものではなく、その日限りの摘要で、日が改まれば自ら消える。

Four doors write: send to the board, hand over your records, share a run to be raced, and the contact form. They share one counter, and one address gets 20 writes a day. The count is kept against a fingerprint of the address rather than the address, and it expires the next day.

渋いようだが、これは盤そのものの予算にござる。store の無料枠は一日千書き込みで、 site の全部がそれを分け合う。上限は罰ではなく、 一人が皆の一日を使い切らぬための仕切りでござる。

That is stingy on purpose, and the reason is the store's own budget: a thousand KV writes a day for the whole site. The cap is not a punishment; it is what stops one visitor spending everybody's day.

預かりものの期限what expires, and when

高札の名と点に期限は無い。押して開く他の預かりものには、初めから期限が入れてござる。

A name and score on the board do not expire. Everything else you can send has an expiry written into it at the moment it is stored.

記録を渡す符牒the hand-over code

24 時間で自ら消える。 隣の端末まで歩くには十分、置き忘れた符牒が生き続けるには短い。 Expires by itself after 24 hours: long enough to walk to your other device, short enough that a code left lying around stops working.

競わせる走りa shared run

7 日で自ら消える。 誰かが開いたかどうかに関わらず消える。符牒を並べた台帳はどこにも無い。 Expires after 7 days, whether or not anybody opened it. Nothing anywhere lists the codes.

問い合わせの控えa message to the operator

下ろすtaking an entry down

高札から名と点を下ろすことができる。頼み方は一つ — 個人情報の扱いの頁の下にある書式に、 曲・難度・名を書いて送られよ。帳面も、こちらの宛先を控える手間も要らぬ。 返信先は任意ゆえ、名乗らずとも頼める。

A name and score can be taken off the board. There is one way to ask: the form at the foot of the privacy page — say which piece, which tier, and which name. No account, no address of ours to copy down, and the reply-to field is optional, so the request can be made without giving a name to make it with.

下ろした事実は控えに残る。控えるのは いつ・どの盤の・どの名を・何点で・どの端末が claim していたか、 そして番人が書き添えた一行だけ。誰が下ろしたかは記さぬ — 鍵は一つで、 鍵には身元が無いゆえ、記せるものが無い。接続元の住所は控えに入らぬ。 控えは自ら消えぬ。九十日で消える控えは控えではござらぬゆえ。

Each takedown is written to a small permanent log: when, which board, which name, its score, the per-device digest that claimed it, and whatever note the moderator wrote. It does not record WHO performed it — the door is opened by a shared secret and a shared secret has no identity to record — and it holds no address. It does not expire: an audit trail that quietly deletes itself after ninety days is not an audit trail. The same log holds the other three things the moderator can do: refuse a name, lift that refusal, and release a name's claim.

閉じるべき帳面は無いthere is no account to close

この遊びに帳面は無く、ゆえに閉じるべき帳面も無い。端末に残るもの — 記録・設定・ 拍合わせの値・名の合鍵 — は browser の「この site のデータを削除」で全て消える。 残るのは、殿が自ら高札へ載せた名と点だけで、それは上の頼みで下ろす。

There is no account, so there is nothing to close. Everything the game keeps on your device — records, settings, the calibration value, the name's token — goes with your browser's own "delete data for this site". The one thing that does not is a name and score you chose to make public, and that is what the takedown above is for.

子どもへ、そして皆へfor children, and for everybody

この遊びは歳を尋ねぬ。尋ねる用が無いゆえ。帳面も、広告も、第三者の追跡もない。 ただし一つだけ、はっきり書いておく — 高札に載せる名に本名を書かぬこと。学校の名も、町の名も同じ。 名は誰にでも見え、載せた者自身では消せぬ。

The game never asks your age, because it has no use for one: no account, no advertising, no third-party tracking. One thing is worth saying plainly, though — do not put your real name on the board, and not your school or your town either. It is visible to everyone, and you cannot take it off yourself.

もし子どもが本名を載せてしもうたときは、 こちらの書式から下ろすよう申されよ。 親御でも、本人でも、気づいた誰でもよい。理由は問わぬ。

If a child has posted a real name, ask through the form on the privacy page and it will be taken down. A parent, the child, or anybody who noticed — no reason has to be given.

留保what this game reserves

以上のほかに、この遊びは高札に載ったものを理由の如何を問わず下ろす権、 および名を拒む権を留保する。上の名簿は自動の網であって、 人の判断の代わりではござらぬ。使うのは稀であろうし、 使うたびに控えは残る — その控えの中身は上に書いた通りにござる。

Beyond the rules above, the game reserves the right to remove anything from the board, and to refuse a name, at its discretion. The automatic list is a net, not a substitute for judgement. It should be rare — and every use of it leaves the log entry described above, which is the check on it.
